After a postural assessment is done, a stretch program is created that focuses on muscles that are short and tight. A home stretch program will be developed with pictures and descriptions for the client to take home after a demonstration is done at the studio. Programs may include both static and dynamic stretching. Static stretching is used to inhibit a muscle group whereas dynamic stretches are used as a warm up before exercise or also to allow greater lengthening gains in the muscle as the client moves through several repetitions.
